On December 31, around 13:00 (US: 1 p.m.), the enemy attacked #Ukraine from Tu-95MS strategic missile carriers from the Caspian Sea and Iskander-M ground-based tactical complexes.
According to preliminary data, about 20 missiles were fired in total. Several of them did not reach Ukraine and fell on the territory of the Russian Federation (information is being clarified).
Air defence forces and air force assets destroyed 12 missiles in the #Kyv, #Zhytomyr and #Khmelnytsky regions.

In addition, an enemy Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle, which was conducting aerial reconnaissance during the missile attack and trying to identify our air defence positions, was shot down in the Kyiv region.
